International Indian Artist Booking Coordination
What to include in an overseas brief
Share the country and city, the venue or venue options, the date, the type of event and the expected audience size. Describe the audience too: a diaspora celebration with families, a company gathering with international colleagues or a community festival will each suit a different set. Mention the languages your guests enjoy, such as Hindi, Punjabi or a regional language.
Say whether the audience will be seated or standing, indoors or outdoors, and where the artist fits in the programme, from guest arrival and dinner to speeches and the closing slot.
Travel, permissions and production
Work authorisation, permits and tax requirements depend on the country and the event, and are confirmed case by case with the relevant management. Nothing is pre-arranged. Travel and stay are arranged by the organiser as specified by the management, and the management shares technical and hospitality requirements as the enquiry progresses.
Sound, lights and stage are arranged by the organiser, usually through the venue or local suppliers. Local permissions are confirmed by the organiser with the venue and authorities.
Timing
Submit the enquiry as early as possible; overseas events need more time for travel and permissions. Wait for confirmation before announcing the artist on invitations, posters or online.
