These Terms of Service govern your use of shaktievent.com and any event management or artist booking service provided by Shakti Event. By using this website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms.
1. Our services
We provide corporate event management (conferences, product launches, award nights, exhibitions, offsites and annual days) and celebrity, singer, anchor, comedian and artist booking services across India. Every engagement is confirmed through a separate written quotation, work order or agreement, which — together with these terms — forms the full contract between us.
2. Enquiries and quotations
Enquiries submitted through this website are requests for information and do not create a booking. Prices shared in a quotation are indicative until confirmed in writing, and remain valid only for the period stated in that quotation. Artist availability and fees are subject to confirmation by the artist or their management.
3. Bookings, payments and taxes
- A booking is confirmed only on receipt of the advance stated in the quotation.
- Balance payments are due as per the milestones set out in the work order.
- All fees are exclusive of GST and other statutory levies unless stated otherwise.
- Travel, stay, local transport and hospitality for artists and crew are billed as per actuals or as agreed.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancellation and rescheduling terms, including any retention of advance amounts, are set out in the specific quotation or work order for your event. Artist advances, venue bookings and vendor commitments already paid on your behalf are generally non-refundable. We will always make reasonable efforts to reschedule instead of cancelling where the client so requests.
5. Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate event details, timelines, approvals and brand assets on time.
- Obtain venue access, entry permissions and any client-side statutory approvals where agreed.
- Ensure a safe environment for artists, crew and guests at the venue.
- Make payments as per the agreed schedule so vendor and artist commitments are protected.
6. Permissions, licences and compliance
Public performance, sound, police and municipal permissions, copyright and royalty payments (including to bodies such as IPRS or PPL) are the responsibility of the party identified in the work order. Where we obtain these on your behalf, the applicable charges are billed to you.
7. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural calamity, epidemic, government restriction, civil unrest, strike, or artist illness. In such cases we will work with you to reschedule the event or reassign the artist wherever possible.
8. Media, photography and publicity
Unless you notify us otherwise in writing, we may use photographs and video of events we produce in our portfolio and marketing material, excluding any confidential content, proprietary information or footage restricted by the artist's own agreement.
9. Limitation of liability
Our total liability arising out of any engagement is limited to the total service fee paid to us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of profit, business or goodwill.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, layout, graphics, photographs and the Shakti Event name and logo — belongs to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
